چکیده
Photoacoustic (PA) and thermoacoustic (TA) imaging can share a set of data acquisition processing system, in addition to different excitation sources. In this paper, reflection mode PA/TA dual modality based on hollow concave array is proposed. The signals are excited through the holes by using optical fiber dipole antenna, respectively. light, microwave received ultrasonic coaxial, forming mode. Through compensation calibration transducer crystal phase amplitude part array, 3-mm-diameter plastic tube filled with 0.9 wt.% salt water, safflower oil, human arm, back hand instep successfully imaged, separately. These experimental results show that spatial resolution system 0.33 mm, technology has potential provide absorption distribution tissues at same time which helpful accurately detecting tumor, diabetic foot other diseases, wide range clinical application prospects.

Development of a dual modality imaging system
Several groups have reported the development of dual modality Gamma camera/optical imagers, which are useful tools for investigating biological processes in experimental animals. While previously reported dual modality imaging instrumentation usually employed a separated gamma camera and optical imager, we designed a detector using a position sensitive photomultiplier tube (PSPMT) that is capab...

Phased arrays have long been used by the military for radar applications, but have only been recently applied to consumer applications. In a phased array system, one or more narrow beams are generated by transmitting (or receiving) a common RF signal that is phase shifted at the output of each antenna in the array such that the direction of the beams can be varied by controlling the phase diffe...

The extensive development of image fusion techniques over the past 20 y has shown that the fusion of images from complementary modalities offers a more complete and accurate assessment of disease than do images from a single modality. An emerging need for evaluation of promising cellular therapies is a non-invasive method to image the movement and health of cells following transplantation. However, the use of a single modality to serve this purpose may not be advantageous as it may convey inaccurate or insufficient information. Multi-modal imaging strategies are becoming more popular for in vivo cellular and molecular imagin...
